Greetings from Tacoma!  I'm visiting Andrew (my brother) and Michele and their son Isaac, on my way back to Alaska from a good friend's wedding in North Carolina.  Our site went down a couple of weeks ago because we changed hosting companies, and it took us until now to get it back up and running again.  It's been fun to work on some of it with my brother and his super-fast internet connection.  You might want to check out his side of our site, he has some pretty cool videos up now.  While I've been here in the NW, I've also gotten to see several other dear friends and family members, which has been great!

I miss my esposita!  Tammy and I will meet in Anchorage in 2 days, and I can't wait to see her!  She will spend the week attending a college history class she was accepted into.  It was a competitive selection process, so I'm pretty proud of her that she made the cut.  During the week ahead, we'll both go to the dentist, and I'll do a TON of grocery shopping and get it all sent home, and we'll enjoy the company of some great friends in Anchorage who we'll be staying with.  We also hope to get to go out to eat and see a movie while we're in the big city.  Then on Friday, a week from today, we fly to the little WA (DC) for a friend's wedding.  We return on Sunday night to Anchorage, and Tam starts work on Monday morning!

As you may recall from our last post, we went to Bible Camp in Unalakleet again this year.  We took 3 kids from Kasigluk with us, and we all had a great time.  I believe that the pool of kids wanting to go to Bible Camp will be much larger next year.  We'll just have to make sure they plan well so they can afford it.  We are wanting to follow up with the kids we brought so they can continue chewing on things that came up at camp.  If you want to see some photos from camp, they are up at Grove Street (link is on our photos page).

During this summer Tammy has been preparing for the school year ahead, spending lots of time in the school.  I've worked on my grant-writing class.  We've also hosted a lot of family (see our last news), which was a blast!  When you live where we do, you know that family is not coming for any reason but to see you, so we were honored by their visits.  We went kayaking, berry-picking, swimming, played a lot of games, even worked on our apartment, and enjoyed each others company a lot!

Well, I should probably go so my brother can have his computer back.  Quyana (thank you) for reading our latest news!
